Separate Meter Sample Clauses

The Separate Meter clause requires that a distinct utility meter be installed to measure the consumption of utilities, such as electricity or water, for a specific area or tenant within a property. In practice, this means that each tenant or unit is billed only for the utilities they actually use, rather than sharing costs based on square footage or other allocation methods. This clause ensures accurate billing and accountability, preventing disputes over utility charges and promoting fair cost distribution among occupants.
