Separation Procedure. 1. The health benefits of any employee who leaves employment by resignation will remain in effect through the last day of the month of the departing employee’s last pay period. 2. The health benefits of any employee who leaves employment due to retirement will remain in effect through the last day of the employee’s contract, or official date of retirement, whichever is earlier.
