Service Clerk. A Service Clerk may perform all duties related to the operation of the Service Deli/Bakery Department, including but not limited to; the ordering, receiving, warehousing, preparation, processing, packaging, and displaying of all items offered for sale by the Service Deli/Bakery Department. Service clerks may perform the duties of a meat clerk at management’s discretion. The employee will receive the higher rate if applicable. Service clerks may perform commercial bakery work. Except for the above, Service Clerks may not perform duties specifically reserved to other classifications of employees. The Service Clerk classification shall be implemented only in stores equipped with an oven used in the preparation of bakery products for sale.
