Common use of Service cores Clause in Contracts

Service cores. (a) All Employees employed on a service core at more than 15 metres above the highest point of the main structure shall be paid the multi-storey rate appropriate for the main structure plus the allowance in clause 26.7, calculated from the highest point reached by the service core in any one (1) day period. For this purpose, the highest point of the main structure shall be regarded as though it were the ground in calculating the appropriate Towers Allowance. (b) Employees employed on a service core at 15 metres or less above the main structure shall be paid in accordance with the Multi-Storey Allowance outlined in clause 26.5. (c) Provided any section of a service core exceeding 15 metres above the highest point of the main structure shall be disregarded for the purpose of calculating the Multi-Storey Allowance applicable to the main structure.
