The Executive Director shall render his/her decision within seven (7) working days after receipt of such notice.
STEP 4 Failing settlement being reached in Step 3, the Union Grievance Committee will submit the written grievance to the Employer’s Administrator Board of Directors. The appropriate Committee of the board will meet with the Union within fifteen (15) working days after receipt of the Grievance and shall render its recommendation to the board within five (5) working days following the meeting. The Board of Directors shall render its decision within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the written reply of the immediate supervisor. The employee or the Union Committee with his or her consent, or the Administrator may request a meeting which shall be held within five (5) working days after such request. The griever, two Union representatives and two representatives of the Employer shall be the only persons entitled to attend this meeting. The Administrator shall give his decision in writing to the employee and to the Union Committee not later than five (5) working days following the presentation to him of the written grievanceBoard Committee’s recommendation.
STEP 5 Failing a satisfactory settlement being reached in Step 3 If the written decision of the Administrator is not satisfactory to the employee or to the Union Committee, the employee or the Union Committee, with his or her consent may, within five (5) working days thereafter, appeal in writing to the Chairman of the Board of Management of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, requesting a meeting with him, and such meeting shall be held within ten (10) days after such written request from the employee or the Committee. The Chairman shall notify the employee of the decision of the Employer within ten (10) days after such meeting.

A sincere attempt shall be made by both parties through discussion to resolve the problem at that level. The Department Manager shall advise the employee and the Union Committee with his of their decision within seven (7) days of the date the matter was first discussed. It is understood that any employee may present an oral complaint at any time to his/her supervisor without resorting to the grievance procedure below. An employee shall have the right to take a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Except where otherwise provided, and it is understood that an employee has no grievance unless and until he has the matter is first given his immediate supervisor the opportunity of adjusting his complaint. Settling of Grievance. (a) At the time formal discipline is imposed or at any stage of the grievance procedure an employee shall have the right upon request to the presence of her ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. In the case of suspension or discharge the Employer shall notify the employee of this right in advance.

Step 2 If the immediate supervisor. The employee supervisor is the Director or Assistant Executive Director (AED) the Union Committee with his or her consent, or the Administrator may request a meeting which grievance shall be held within five (5) working days after such request. The griever, two Union representatives and two representatives of the Employer shall be the only persons entitled move directly to attend this meeting. The Administrator shall give his decision in writing to the employee and to the Union Committee not later than five (5) working days following the presentation to him of the written grievanceStep 3.

It is further understood that the Executive Director may have such counsel and assistance as she may desire at such meeting. The decision of the Administrator is not satisfactory to the employee or to the Union Committee, the employee or the Union Committee, with his or her consent may, within five (5) working days thereafter, appeal Executive Director will be delivered in writing to within nine (9) calendar days following the Chairman date of the Board of Management of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, requesting a meeting with him, and such meeting shall be held within ten (10) days after such written request from the employee or the Committee. That committee shall meet with the Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the National CUPE representative within fifteen (15) days of Rainycrest Home for receipt of such answer to the Aged, requesting Grievance and shall render a meeting with him, and such meeting shall be held within decision in writing ten (10) days after such written request from following the employee or the Committeenext scheduled Board meeting.
