Common use of Seventh Consecutive Day Worked Clause in Contracts

Seventh Consecutive Day Worked. Overtime pay at the rate of two (2) times the regular rate shall be paid for all work performed on the seventh consecutive day worked in the normal work week for payroll purposes. Seventh Consecutive days pay for ten the four X ten (10) hour shifts only will be applied as follows: a. If the employee works his regular 40 hour week AND Friday of the same pay period, double time will be paid for hours worked on Saturday and/or Sunday. b. If the employee does not work his regular 40 hour week AND Friday of the same pay period, the employee will be paid time-and-one-half for hours worked on Saturday and/or Sunday.
