Common use of Severability and Captions Clause in Contracts

Severability and Captions. If any clause or provision of this Lease ------------------------- contract, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall, to any extent, be illegal, invalid or unenforceable under the present or future laws effective during the Term of this Lease, then and in that event, it is the intention of the parties hereto that the remainder of this Lease, or the application of such term or provision to persons or circumstances other than those as to whom or which it is held invalid or unenforceable, shall not be affected thereby, and each term and provision of this Lease shall be valid and enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. The caption of each paragraph hereof is added as a matter of convenience only and shall be considered to be of no effect in the construction of any provision or provisions of this Lease.
