Shares Subject to Option Exercise Price Clause Samples

The "Shares Subject to Option; Exercise Price" clause defines the number of shares that may be purchased under a stock option and sets the price at which these shares can be acquired by the option holder. Typically, this clause specifies the total shares available for option grants and establishes the exercise price, often based on the fair market value at the time the option is granted. By clearly outlining these terms, the clause ensures transparency for both the company and the option holder, preventing disputes over the amount of equity involved and the cost to exercise the option.
