Shift Allowance. In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.
Shift Allowance. Par.
1. If work is performed in two shifts, the Monthly Salary must be increased by an allowance of 14%. Par.
2. If work is performed in three shifts, the Monthly Salary must be increased by an allowance of 19%.

(2) With effect from 1st April 2010, the Hospital shall pay a daily allowance to staff on authorised paid leave (except for sick leave) as follows:

Shift Allowance. For the purposes of calculation of shift premium, the day shift is defined as 08:00 to 16:00 and the basis for payment is as follows:
(a) for operations employees - shift workers will be paid a shift premium of $1.92 per hour for all hours of a specific shift that fall outside the day shift.
(b) for maintenance employees - shift workers shall be paid a premium of $1.92 per hour for the entire shift for all shifts where 50% or more of the shift hours fall outside the day shift. It is understood that, for shifts where less than 50% of the hours fall outside the day shift, no shift premium will apply.
Shift Allowance. Employees who are required to perform Shift Work shall be paid a Shift Allowance as follows:-
(i) 2-Shift Cycle - RM237.00 per month.
(ii) 3-Shift Cycle - RM277.00 per month.
Shift Allowance. Penal Rates as per Clause 6.2 to 6.4.
Shift Allowance. Shift allowance is payable in the below circumstances:
Shift Allowance. This clause does not apply to a DON or Deputy DON.
(a) finish between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. or commence between 6.00 p.m. and
Shift Allowance. 1. For 2-shift work, a 20% surcharge shall be paid for all hours worked. For 3-shift work, a 30% supplement shall be paid for all hours worked. The percentage basis is the current wage applicable at any given time.
2. For workers who are temporarily assigned to shift work, overtime percentages shall be paid for work performed outside ordinary working hours when the shift time does not extend beyond 2 shifts. If less than 48 hours notice is given, overtime percentages shall be paid as mentioned for the shift work that falls within these 48 hours.
Shift Allowance. Subject to clause 3.12 of this Appendix, employees who work afternoon or night shifts (Monday to Friday inclusive) will be paid 15% per shift in addition to the ordinary rate: Provided that the afternoon and night shift allowance does not apply to shift work performed where clauses 3.10 and 3.11 of this Appendix apply.
