Common use of Shift Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Shift Cancellation. If a nurse is cancelled by the Employer from the entire scheduled shift with less than twelve (12) hours notice of the commencement of such shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours regular pay.

Shift Cancellation. If a any nurse is cancelled by the Employer from the entire scheduled shift with less than twelve twenty four (1224) hours notice of the commencement of such shift, he/their assigned duties she shall be paid a minimum of two three (23) hours regular pay at the applicable rate of pay. Notice will be left on the employee’s work voice mail.

Notice will be left on the Registered Nurse’s work email and/or by voice mail.
