Common use of Shift Swapping Clause in Contracts

Shift Swapping. Employees may agree to trade shifts with other Employees for one or more days at a time, for their own convenience, upon prior notification to "and approval of the Sheriff or the Undersheriff. It is understood and agreed that no overtime shall result in any way for such voluntary changes, and for overtime and scheduling purposes, it is presumed that the shift trade did not occur.
