Common use of SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA AND SAMPLES Clause in Contracts

SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA AND SAMPLES. 7.10.1 Shop drawings, product data, samples and other submittals from the Contractor do not constitute Contract Documents. Their purpose is merely to demonstrate the manner in which the Contractor intends to implement the Work in conformance with information received from the Contract Documents. 7.10.2 The Contractor shall not perform any portion of the Work requiring submittal and review of shop drawings, product data or samples unless and until such submittal shall have been approved by the City. Approval by the City, however, shall not be evidence that Work installed pursuant thereto conforms with the requirements of this Contract.
