Common use of Short Shifts Clause in Contracts

Short Shifts. Where a part-time Employee(s) is scheduled to work less than a normal shift (7.5 hours), Article 14 applies in its entirety except as amended by the following: (a) The Home will endeavor to keep the number of shifts comprised of less than 7.5 hours to a reasonable level (b) No nurse will be required to work a permanent rotation of less than 7.5 hours (short shifts) without his/her consent or request;
