Common use of Show-up Pay Clause in Contracts

Show-up Pay. An employee reporting for work on a scheduled work-day, when the District fails to provide regular notification not to report for work, shall be compensated for two hours of work at that employee's regular rate of pay. Regular notification shall be radio announcements. Employees who report to their work site more than one half hour before their start time will be ineligible for show up pay.
