Sick Leave Procedure. Payments from cumulative sick leave credit shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) A full-time Employee shall, on the first day or part of a day of illness, report or cause to report such illness to the Immediate Supervisor (Non-Union). Such reporting shall be in accordance with the Division rules governing reporting for work. (b) A full-time Employee who fails to report as outlined in subsection (a) of this Article 29.3 shall be considered as absent without leave and shall not be paid for this absence unless a reason is given that is acceptable to the Employer. (c) A full-time or part-time Employee shall file with the Immediate Supervisor (Non-Union) or designate, a doctor's certificate: (i) after any absence if deemed necessary and if so requested in advance in writing; (ii) for each and every absence immediately following a vacation period; (iii) for each and every absence on a day immediately prior to or after regular days off if deemed necessary, and if so advised in advance in writing.
