Sick Time Use Clause Samples

The Sick Time Use clause defines the rules and conditions under which employees may take time off from work due to illness or medical needs. Typically, it outlines the process for notifying supervisors, any documentation required (such as a doctor's note), and the types of absences that qualify as sick time, such as personal illness or caring for a sick family member. This clause ensures that employees understand their rights and obligations regarding sick leave, promoting workplace health while providing clear guidelines to prevent misuse and maintain operational continuity.
