Signature Requirement. a) No information reflecting critically upon bargaining unit members shall be placed in their personnel files that does not bear their signature. Bargaining unit members shall be required to sign such material to be placed in their personnel file provided the following disclaimer is attached: “THE BARGAINING UNIT MEMBER’S SIGNATURE DOES NOT NECESSARILY INDICATE AGREEMENT.” b) If a bargaining unit member is not available within a reasonable period of time to sign the material, the City may place the material in the files provided a statement has been signed by two (2) City representatives that a copy of the document was mailed to the bargaining unit member at their address of record.
