Signatures and Effective Date Sample Clauses

In practice, this clause typically lists the date on which the last party signs the document, and may require each party to provide their signature on the same or separate copies. Its core function is to provide certainty about when the contractual obligations begin, preventing disputes over the commencement of rights and duties under the agreement.
