Common use of Site Allowances Clause in Contracts

Site Allowances. Where the Enterprise is contracted to perform work on a site where a Project Agreement which is lodged with the Office of the Employment Advocate (now Workplace Authority), or has been certified by the Commission, and is compliant with the National Building Code and Guidelines applies, the following shall apply: (a) Where a Project Agreement prescribes rates of pay and conditions to apply across the site which are not less than those contained herein, those rates and conditions will apply and the terms of this Agreement shall be suspended for the purposes of the site; or (b) Where the Project Agreement prescribes a Site allowance, such allowance shall apply in addition to the rates of pay prescribed by this Agreement, and the terms of this Agreement shall continue to apply.

Site Allowances. Where the Enterprise enterprise is contracted to perform work on a site where a Project Agreement Agreement, which is lodged with the Office of the Employment Advocate (now Workplace Authority)Advocate, or has been certified by the Commission, and is compliant with the National Building Code and Guidelines appliesapplies and the enterprise is contractually required to observe such agreement, the following shall apply: (a) Where a Project Agreement prescribes rates of pay and conditions to apply across the site which are not less than those contained herein, those rates and conditions will apply and the terms of this Agreement shall be suspended for the purposes of the site; or (b) Where the Project Agreement prescribes a Site allowance, such allowance shall apply in addition to the rates of pay prescribed by this Agreement, and the terms of this Agreement agreement shall continue to apply.
