Common use of Skills and Knowledge Transfer Clause in Contracts

Skills and Knowledge Transfer. Approved Contractors must log any significant decisions and actions undertaken in delivering agreed packages of work to provide a clear audit trail. The audit trail should be sufficient to allow the commissioning authority to respond to any queries made about the work and to use it in the planning, development and delivery of future work to identify learning and risks and issues. This audit trail should also be sufficient for CQC to identify any sampling errors, breaches of confidentiality raised, and limitations within the data. Approved Contractors must provide CQC or its Co-ordination Centre with the results of evaluation, lessons learned or other review of a work package on completion of that work package. All project specific intellectual property rights means Intellectual Property Rights in items created by the Contractor (or by a third party on behalf of the Contractor) specifically for the purposes of this Framework Agreement will be retained by CQC.
