Software Development Tools Clause Samples

The 'Software Development Tools' clause defines the rules and permissions regarding the use of specific tools, libraries, or platforms in the course of developing software under the agreement. It typically outlines which tools are authorized, whether proprietary or open-source, and may specify licensing requirements or restrictions on tool usage. By clarifying these aspects, the clause ensures that both parties understand their rights and obligations concerning development resources, thereby reducing the risk of intellectual property disputes or compliance issues.
