Soils Report Sample Clauses

A Soils Report clause requires that a report on the condition and composition of the soil at a property be obtained, typically before construction or development begins. This report is usually prepared by a qualified geotechnical engineer and may include information on soil stability, drainage, and suitability for building foundations. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties are aware of any soil-related issues that could impact construction, thereby reducing the risk of unforeseen costs or structural problems.
