Common use of Span of Ordinary Hours Clause in Contracts

Span of Ordinary Hours. (a) The ordinary span of work hours for an Employee is between: (i) 0700 (7.00am) to 2100 (9.00pm) hours Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays; and (ii) 0900 (9.00am) to 1300 (1.00pm) hours Saturdays, excluding public holidays. (b) Employees will be entitled to penalty rates in accordance with clause 23 of this Agreement if they work outside the ordinary span of work hours.
