Spareboard Operators Forced Onto Work Sample Clauses

The 'Spareboard Operators Forced Onto Work' clause defines the conditions under which operators who are on a spareboard—meaning they are not assigned to a regular shift—can be required to take on available work. Typically, this clause outlines the process for assigning shifts to spareboard operators when there are unfilled positions, such as when regular employees are absent or additional coverage is needed. By establishing clear rules for when and how spareboard operators may be compelled to work, the clause ensures operational continuity and fairness in shift allocation, while also preventing disputes over work assignments.
