Specialized Skills. Each Educational Support Associate demonstrated in their performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation. The ESA staff member is able to: 1. Select and administer formal and informal instruments and procedures appropriate to the student; 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the limitations and restrictions of assessment instruments and procedures; 3. Interpret results of assessment and summarize implications for student programming, orally and in writing; 4. Plan and implement student programs based on identified needs.
