Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. ▇▇▇▇'s Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.
First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.
Vehicle Allowance Vehicle allowances for all distances travelled on Employer business shall be paid to employees required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties. Ownership of a vehicle shall not be a condition of employment. Vehicle allowance shall be thirty-seven cents (37¢) per kilometre.
Altona Area Allowance As of 1 March 2024 an Employee within a 8 km radius from the intersection of Kororoit Creek Road and Millers Road, Altona shall, when employed on chemical or petrochemical plants or on commercial or industrial construction jobs within 1 km of the nearest part of the perimeter of such plants or within the perimeter of storage tank farms, be paid an all- purpose allowance of $1.55 per hour extra. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025 rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
