STANDARDS OF REGULAR ATTENDANCE. The Company and the Union are committed to discouraging and eliminating the abuse of sick leave privileges and encouraging a standard of regular attendance. Abuse of sick leave privileges, paid or unpaid, is defined as an employee who fails to report for work by falsely claiming to be ill. Absence from the job reduces productivity which in turn affects all employees.
