Common use of State Certification Clause in Contracts

State Certification. Section I A. Any Inspector, while employed by the LADBS or the HCID, possessing a valid and current Certified Access Specialist certification (CASp) shall be paid, in addition to all other regular and premium compensation, a pensionable salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per pay period. B. The employing department shall reimburse each Inspector who has paid for and is qualified to sit for the CASp certification examinations the cost of each of the exams and application fees upon passing. C. CASp certification is a requirement for the LADBS, in accordance with SB 1186. Management will have sole discretion in determining the number of CASp certified Inspectors necessary to meet the requirements of the department.
