Common use of State Certifications Clause in Contracts

State Certifications. The Employer agrees to pay for the full-time Mechanic's state certification and up to one (1) other state required test per year (state certifications listed below), provided the employee remains under County employment in the Mechanic position for a minimum of one (1) year. In the event the employee does not remain in the Mechanic position for the one (1) year minimum, the employee shall pay the Employer for the cost of all certifications paid for by the Employer in the previous one (1) year period.
