Common use of State Requirements Clause in Contracts

State Requirements. GDPM is an Ohio Political Subdivision and is subject to certain state requirements. Therefore, the work to be performed under this Agreement may subject to state statutes, rules, regulations, laws, orders and directives applicable to public subdivisions. In the event an applicable state requirement conflicts with any provision of the Contract Documents, unless federal preemption applies, the state requirement shall prevail and take precedence over and against such conflicting provisions. State requirements may include, but are not limited to, any drug-free workplace requirements. Contractor agrees to abide by all State Requirements.
