Common use of Statement of Intention Clause in Contracts

Statement of Intention. The parties hereto intend that the income and gift tax consequences of this split-dollar arrangement be governed by traditional split-dollar economic benefit concepts, in accordance with the interim guidance provided in the Notices, for arrangements entered into prior to the adoption of final regulations. The parties hereto agree to consistently treat this arrangement in accordance with such concepts on all tax returns and other documents filed by them in connection herewith.
