Statements of Principle. 19.1.1 The parties acknowledge the following provisions are to protect the rights of employees during pregnancy and on their return to employment following parental leave. 19.1.2 This clause is to be read in conjunction with the Parental Leave and Employment Protection ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ provided that where this clause 19 is more favourable to the employee, the provisions of this clause 19 shall prevail.
