Common use of Status Definition Clause in Contracts

Status Definition. A basic workweek is forty (40) hours per week. To qualify for “full-time” status, based on seniority, the employee must work an average of thirty-six (36) hours for thirteen (13) consecutive weeks. Exceptions are when an employee is covering for a leave of absence. Any employee working less than thirty-six (36) hours per week is considered “part-time”.
