Step #1 – Grievance Procedure. Failing settlement, the employee and her ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may, within five (5) days after the aforementioned decision or the expiry of the five (5) day period for giving it, present the matter as a grievance to her immediate Manager. The grievance shall be in writing on a grievance form approved by the Employer and the Union and shall state the nature of the grievance, the circumstances giving rise to the grievance, the remedy sought and shall specify the provisions of the Agreement which are alleged to have been violated. The grievance shall be in writing on a grievance form approved by the Employer and the Union and shall state the nature of the grievance, the circumstances giving rise to the grievance, the remedy sought and shall specify the provisions of the Agreement which are alleged to have been violated. A meeting will be convened by the Manager or an appropriate Director which will include the grievor and a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Such meeting will be held within tenten (10) days of submission of the grievance at Step #1 unless extended by written agreement of the parties. The Director shall deliver her decision in writing within five (5) days following the presentation of the grievance to her.
