Step 1 / Intermediate Supervisor. The employee and the employee’s representative shall submit a written statement of the grievance to the intermediate supervisor. The grievance must include the following: a. The specific reason or reasons for the grievance, including the date of the incident giving rise to the grievance, an explanation of the harm that occurred, and the name, classification, and division of the affected employee or employees; b. The Section(s) of the contract which the Union believes has been violated; c. The remedy being sought by the Grievant.
