Step Movement Clause Samples

Step Movement. During the period from September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, there shall be no non-probationary step movements, including any step movement provided for in other provisions of this Agreement. Step movement shall resume on August 28, 2011. Employees hired or promoted between September 1, 2009 and August 27, 2011 shall not receive a probationary step increase. Upon resumption of step movement, the employee’s step date shall be the employee’s date of hire or promotion. No retroactive movement shall occur for the two (2) years that have been skipped.
Step Movement. Employees hired prior to February 1 of each contract year shall advance one step each year on July 1.
Step Movement a. Effective July 1, 2019, teachers will receive annual steps in accordance with 4.2.4 below. b. Effective July 1, 2020, teachers will receive annual steps in accordance with 4.2.4 below: Any increases in benefits for the teachers in the K-12 program shall also be provided to the teachers in the Adult Education Program.
Step Movement. Teachers who are eligible for step movement for the 2021-2022 school year will move one step above the step they were in during the 2020-2021 school year.
Step Movement. ‌ Annual advancement on the salary schedule via step movement is recognized as a component of the employee’s compensation. Annual step movement, as a part of compensation, will be implemented contingent upon and after final contract agreement on compensation between the parties. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2016) effective July 1, 2016. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2017) effective July 1, 2017. One step movement will be provided to eligible employees (employed on June 30, 2018) effective July 1, 2018.
Step Movement. All members of the bargaining unit that served the District the previous contract year, except those that were on step 16, shall advance one step for the 2016-2017 school year.
Step Movement. In periods other than those during which no step movement has occurred by virtue of collective bargaining agreements, subsequent step movement shall occur on an annual basis until the maximum step of the assigned pay range is reached.
Step Movement. The advancement on the salary schedule shall be at the rate of one (1) step for each full year of satisfactory District employment. If a unit member is employed for at least fifty percent (50%) of the required number of workdays for the position, the employee shall be given credit for that year’s experience for salary credit, effective with the start of the new fiscal year.
Step Movement. A teacher must be actively employed by the District for a minimum of ninety (90) days to qualify for a step increment (if applicable) unless otherwise provided in this Agreement.
Step Movement. Except as otherwise provided herein, an employee shall move from starting salary to Step 2 upon completing 6 months of employment, and one year later to Step 3 (After 1 ½ Years), and thereafter the employee shall move from one step to the next, annually from the Step 2 anniversary date as a full-time police officer.
