Stolen Device Clause Samples

The Stolen Device clause outlines the procedures and responsibilities in the event that a device covered by the agreement is lost or stolen. Typically, this clause requires the party in possession of the device to promptly notify the other party and may specify steps such as reporting the incident to authorities, disabling access, or taking measures to protect sensitive data. Its core function is to mitigate risks associated with unauthorized access or misuse of the device, ensuring both parties understand their obligations and reducing potential liability.
Stolen Device. If your device is stolen we will replace it.
Stolen Device. If a device is stolen, you must file an official police report. If filed and deemed acceptable by the respective campus, no charges will be assessed for a stolen device.
Stolen Device. If the District issued device has been stolen, the student and parents must report the suspected theft to the school police and a police report must be filed.
Stolen Device. The parent must file a police report for a stolen device. A copy of the filed police report will be provided to the school administrator within 48 hours. If filed, the parent/guardian will not be responsible for any costs of the device. Without a filed-police report, the device will be deemed lost and a fee of up to $300.00 will be collected for a stolen device from the parent, and a parent/guardian meeting with an administrator will be required. In the case of a stolen device, a loaner device will be provided.

  • Safety Devices All Products provided under the Contract shall be equipped with required safety devices to comply with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations that are in effect at the time of delivery.

  • Device In this agreement, “device” means a hardware system (whether physical or virtual) with an internal storage device capable of running the software. A hardware partition or blade is considered to be a device.

  • Removable media devices All electronic files that contain County PHI or PI data must be encrypted when stored on any removable media or portable device (i.e. USB thumb drives, floppies, CD/DVD, smartphones, backup tapes etc.). Encryption must be a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as AES.

  • RE-WEIGHING PRODUCT Deliveries are subject to re- weighing at the point of destination by the Authorized User. If shrinkage occurs which exceeds that normally allowable in the trade, the Authorized User shall have the option to require delivery of the difference in quantity or to reduce the payment accordingly. Such option shall be exercised in writing by the Authorized User.

  • Devices BNY Mellon will restrict the transfer of Customer Data from its network to mass storage devices. BNY Mellon will use a mobile device management system or equivalent tool when mobile computing is used to provide the services. Applications on such authenticated devices will be housed within an encrypted container and BNY Mellon will maintain the ability to remote wipe the contents of the container.
