Common use of Stroke Clause in Contracts

Stroke. Any stroke causing permanent and irreversible neurological sequelae. It includes brain haemorrhage and cerebral embolism of an extracranial nature. The diagnosis must be confirmed by a medical specialist and attested by typical clinical symptoms, apart from the results of a CAT scan (computerised axial tomography) and of an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of the brain.
