Structural Load Clause Samples

The Structural Load clause defines the maximum weight or force that a building or structure is designed to safely support. It typically specifies the allowable loads for various parts of the structure, such as floors, roofs, or beams, and may reference relevant building codes or engineering standards. By clearly outlining these limits, the clause ensures that the structure is not overloaded, thereby preventing potential damage, structural failure, or safety hazards.
Structural Load. Tenant shall not place a load upon the Datacenter Space exceeding the number of pounds of live load per square foot specified in Paragraph 5 of Part I of Exhibit “H”. Structural Load. Party B shall not install any object or appliance weighing more than [150] kg per square meter in the Premises. If Party B needs to install or place any items in the Premises that exceed the weight limit, it shall obtain the prior written consent of Party A or its representative and take structural measures to strengthen the Premises before installing or placing the overweight items.

Structural Load. Tenant shall position all files, safes and heavy equipment --------------- which Tenant desires to place in the Premises so as to properly distribute the weight thereof in accordance with the structural capacity of the Building. After the initial structural review of Tenant's use of the Premises prior to the Commencement Date, Landlord shall not require further structural review of Tenant's use at Tenant's expense except in connection with Alterations.
