STUDENT ADVISEMENT. Undergraduate Courses and Projects: (1) Projects. Advising about undergraduate independent study projects, whether or not undertaken by the student for academic credit, is wholly voluntary on the part of the Faculty member and shall not be count- ed for the purpose of calculating a full-time Faculty member's Primary Faculty Teaching As- signment; (2) Courses. Teaching an undergraduate course which is described in the current course catalog as an independent study course, undertaken by the student for academic credit, is wholly voluntary on the part of the Faculty member and shall not be counted for the purpose of calculating a Faculty member's Primary Faculty Teaching Assignment, as long as no more than five students are involved. If more than five students register to take the course as inde- pendent study then, with the agreement of the appropriate ▇▇▇▇, a full course must be sched- uled and the teacher credit hours count towards a full-time Faculty member's Primary Faculty Teaching Assignments.
