Student Day Clause Samples

The "STUDENT DAY" clause defines what constitutes a full day of attendance or participation for a student within the context of an agreement or policy. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum number of hours or periods a student must be present to be counted as having completed a student day, and may outline exceptions for partial attendance or excused absences. Its core practical function is to establish a clear standard for tracking student attendance, which is often necessary for compliance, funding, or academic progress purposes.

Educators are expected to virtually and visually connect with all remote learners assigned to their homeroom/course every day via Google Classroom or other District- approved online meeting platform. Elementary teachers will connect multiple times throughout the school day; Middle and High School teachers will connect during each course/block.
