STUDENT INTERFACES. ‌ As previously mentioned the student interface needs to be immersive, enticing but still user friendly and intuitive. We should not make the mistake of creating the interface to look purely like a game and to be too graphic dependent. This can reduce the flow of Beaconing, especially on lower spec machines and can make the interface too busy in terms of it elements and draw the focus away of the learning objectives. Instead we need to strike a balance between a gamified experience and a functional learning platform as well as to consider accessibility in design and usability.
