Sub-Loop Sample Clauses
A Sub-Loop clause defines the terms under which a party may use or grant access to a portion of a larger network or system, typically in the context of telecommunications or utilities. This clause outlines the rights, responsibilities, and technical requirements for connecting to and operating a sub-section of the main infrastructure, such as allowing a third party to use a segment of a communications loop to provide services to end users. Its core practical function is to facilitate shared use of infrastructure while clearly allocating responsibilities and minimizing disputes over access and maintenance.
Sub-Loop. Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1of this Attachment and upon request, Verizon shall provide Z-Tel with access to a Sub-Loop (as such term is hereinafter defined) in accordance with, and subject to, the terms and provisions of this Section 5 and the rates set forth in the Pricing Attachment. A “Sub-Loop” means a two-wire or four-wire metallic distribution facility in Verizon’s network between a Verizon feeder distribution interface (an “FDI”) and the rate demarcation point for such facility (or network interface device (“NID”) if the NID is located at such rate demarcation point). Verizon shall provide Z-Tel with access to a Sub-Loop in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law.
Sub-Loop. In locations where SBC-AMERITECH has deployed: (1) Digital Loop Carrier systems and an uninterrupted copper loop is replaced with a fiber segment or shared copper in the distribution section of the loop; (2) Digital Added Main Line (“DAML”) technology to derive multiple voice-grade POTS circuits from a single copper pair; or (3) entirely fiber optic facilities to the end user, SBC-AMERITECH will make the following options available to CLEC:
Sub-Loop. Feeder (UFSE).
6.2.1 Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 and upon request by GNAPS, Verizon shall provide GNAPS with access to a Feeder Sub- Loop (as such term is hereinafter defined) in accordance with, and subject to, the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Verizon’s DTE MA No. 17 Tariff, as amended from time to time, that relate to or concern Feeder Sub-Loops, and Verizon shall do so regardless of whether or not such rates, terms and conditions are effective. A “Feeder Sub-Loop” means a DS1- or DS3- transmission path over a feeder facility in Verizon’s network between a Verizon end office and either a Verizon remote terminal equipment enclosure (an “RTEE”) that subtends such end office or a Verizon feeder distribution interface (such an interface, an “FDI”) that subtends the end office. Verizon shall provide GNAPS with access to a Feeder Sub-Loop in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law.
Sub-Loop. Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 of this Attachment and upon request by PN, Verizon shall allow PN to access Sub-Loops unbundled from local switching and transport, in accordance with the terms of Verizon's DTE MA No. 17 Tariff, as amended from time to time, that relate to or concern Sub-Loops, and Verizon shall do so regardless of whether or not such rates, terms and conditions are effective. Verizon shall allow PN access to Sub-Loops in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, the Federal

Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1.7 below, upon request by SPRINT, to the extent required by Applicable Law, VERIZON shall provide to SPRINT access to (a) the Unbundled Sub-Loop Arrangement (as described in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17, Part B, Section18) in accordance with, and subject to, the rates, terms and conditions set forth in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17, (b) Feeder Sub-Loops (as described in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17, Part B, Section 20) in accordance with, and subject to, the rates, terms and conditions set forth in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17, and (c) Unbundled Sub- Loop Arrangements-Other (as described in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17, Part B, Section 21) in accordance with, and subject to, the rates, terms and conditions set forth in VERIZON Tariff DTE MA No. 17.
Sub-Loop. Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 of this Attachment and upon request by CBB, Verizon shall allow CBB to access Sub-Loops unbundled from local switching and transport, in accordance with the terms of Verizon's PA PUC Tariff No. 216, as amended from time to time, that relate to or concern Sub-Loops, and Verizon shall do so regardless of whether or not such rates, terms and conditions are effective. Verizon shall allow CBB access to Sub-Loops in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law.
Sub-Loop. Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 of this Attachment and upon request by First Comm, Verizon shall allow First Comm to access Sub-Loops unbundled from local switching and transport, in accordance with the terms of Verizon's DTE MA No. 17 Tariff, as amended from time to time, that relate to or concern Sub-Loops, and Verizon shall do so regardless of whether or not such rates, terms and conditions are effective. Verizon shall allow First Comm access to Sub-Loops in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, the Federal Unbundling Rules.

Verizon shall allow Intrado access to Sub-Loops in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, the Federal Unbundling Rules. The available Sub-Loop types are as set forth below.
Sub-Loop. Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 of this Attachment and upon request by Global Link, Verizon shall allow Global Link to access Sub-Loops unbundled from local switching and transport, in accordance with the terms of Verizon's PA PUC Tariff No. 216, as amended from time to time, that relate to or concern Sub-Loops, and Verizon shall do so regardless of whether or not such rates, terms and conditions are effective. Verizon shall allow Global Link access to Sub-Loops in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law.
