Subcontracting and Prompt Payment Sample Clauses

The Subcontracting and Prompt Payment clause establishes requirements for how a contractor may engage subcontractors and mandates timely payment to those subcontractors. Typically, it outlines the conditions under which subcontracting is permitted, such as requiring prior approval from the client, and sets specific timeframes within which the contractor must pay subcontractors after receiving payment themselves. This clause ensures that subcontractors are treated fairly and paid promptly, reducing the risk of payment disputes and delays in the project.
