Submission in Writing Clause Samples
The 'Submission in Writing' clause requires that certain communications, requests, or notifications between parties must be made in written form. This typically applies to important matters such as contract amendments, notices of termination, or formal complaints, which must be delivered via email, letter, or other documented means. By mandating written submissions, the clause ensures there is a clear, verifiable record of communications, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes about what was communicated and when.
Submission in Writing. Grievances shall not be valid for consideration unless, as outlined in this grievance procedure, the grievance is submitted in writing to Employee Relations in Step 2, setting forth the facts and the specific provision of the Agreement allegedly violated and the particular relief sought.
