Summative Ratings Clause Samples

Summative Ratings. At the end of the school year, a summative evaluation rating for each teacher will be calculated by averaging the teacher's formal classroom observation(s), and up to three (3) unannounced observations, for the school year. IHSCA will provide teachers with their summative evaluation ratings no later than their last official day of attendance. The summative evaluation rating shall be in writing, include the dates of each of the observations and conferences, comments and observation scores/feedback. The teacher and the evaluator will sign and date the summative rating document and the teacher will be provided with a copy. The teacher's signature indicates receipt of the document and not necessarily agreement with its contents.
