The Sunday Shift clause defines the terms and conditions under which employees may be required to work on Sundays. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility, compensation rates (such as overtime or premium pay), and any special scheduling considerations for Sunday work. For example, it may specify that only certain roles are subject to Sunday shifts or that employees must receive advance notice. Sunday Shift. The minimum rate to be paid to a continuous shift worker for ordinary work rostered to be performed between 11.00 pm on Saturday and 11.00 pm on Sunday shall be double time. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift allowances prescribed at sub-clause 14.1.1
Sunday Shift. (a) An employee, rostered to work ordinary hours between 2400 Saturday and 2400 on the following Sunday will be paid a loading on the ordinary rate of pay of 75% on actual hours worked during this period.
(b) An employee who commences work prior to 2400 on a Sunday and continues to work after 2400 will continue to receive the 75% loading on ordinary hours worked up to 0730 on the following Monday.
Sunday Shift. A shift worker working on a Sunday early morning, afternoon or night shift as part of their normal work roster shall be paid, in addition to the ordinary hourly rate, an allowance of one hundred (100) per cent which substitutes for the shift allowances in subclauses 23.1, 23.2 and 23.3.
Sunday Shift. For all ordinary time worked on a Sunday, a loading of 75% of the permanent ordinary time rate will apply to both casual and permanent employees.
Sunday Shift. All hours worked between the hours of midnight on Saturday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of time and three-quarters.
Sunday Shift. Any time an employee is requested to work on a Sunday, when not part 39 of his/her regular shift, time and one-half is to be paid.
