SUPERINTENDENCE AND SUPERVISION. The Developer shall keep on the construction site during the progress of the work a competent superintendent and any necessary assistants, all satisfactory to the City Engineer. The superintendent shall not be changed except with the consent of the City Engineer unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Developer and ceases to be in his/her employ. The superintendent shall represent the Developer in his/her absence, and all directions given to the superintendent shall be as binding as though given to the Developer. Instructions to the Developer shall be confirmed in writing upon his/her request in each case. The Developer shall give efficient supervision to the work, using his/her best skill and attention.
