Suspend Operations. If this limited source is not approved Point-of-Care (POC) whole blood glucose testing will cease. If POC glucose testing stops effective treatment for outpatient, inpatient and emergency patients will be significantly decreased. POC glucose testing offers a rapid turnaround time, without it certain patients may be at risk of serious harm or even death.
