Swapping Shifts. Employees may switch scheduled days with the approval of the manager or designee. Such switches obligate both employees to the amended schedule and disputes between or among employees regarding mutual schedule changes shall not be subject to the grievance or arbitration processes. Switches not adversely affecting the operation of the unit, quality of patient care, proper balance of competencies, or increasing costs will not be unreasonably denied.
